Welcome to our classroom home page. We are going to have a great time learning new things this year!
At the end of May we will be having an economic fair. Students will provide either a good or service to the other second grade classrooms. In the past we have had students sell origami insects, spinners, provide hair braiding etc. For the other classes to pay for the goods or services, they have been earning "money" during the day. Please start thinking of either a good or service your child can provide. They will also create their own store sign on poster board with the name of their shop, what they are providing, and how much it costs. Students really enjoy this hands on experience to see how to save money, make change for customers, and provide a service. |
