Hello!! Welcome to First Grade! My name is Jennifer Bennett. I received my bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. This will be my sixth year teaching First Grade. I taught Kindergarten in a previous year. I love teaching using hands on approach and lots of active learning. I want to thank you for the opportunity to work with your child. I realize that your child is precious to you and I want you to know that I will teach and treat your child as I would want my own child to be treated and taught. I do not only look forward to working with the children, I am looking forward to working with each child’s family. Our door is always open and I encourage parent volunteers. With the help of families this year we will be a success. Please let me know if you would like to volunteer in our classroom or somewhere else in the school.
